Obituary of James D. Angus

Monroe Resident James D. Angus, age 71, of Monroe, died on Friday, December 1, 2006 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Brookline, MA on October 28, 1935, he was a son of the late Gilbert and Peggy MacLean Angus and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Angus was a retired Director of Accounting for the Compass Group, and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus at St Jude Church. In addition to his parents he was pre-deceased by a brother, John Angus. Survivors include his beloved wife, Susan Grant Angus, two loving children, a son, Derek Angus and his wife Megan of Stratford, a daughter, Heather McTiernan, and her husband Bruce of Stratford, mother-in-law Lorraine Grant of Medford MA., two step-grandchildren, Colin and Kyle McTiernan, several nieces and nephews and two grand-dogs, Riley and Jameson,. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at 9 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10 a.m. in St. Jude Church, Monroe, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with full military honors will take place on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody, MA. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 pm.
