Obituary of Jean G. Turiano

Devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother Jean G. Vivola Turiano, age 74, of Fairfield, went peacefully to rest on Saturday, May 6, 2006 in St. Vincent Medical Center, with her loving family and friends by her side. She was born in Cleveland, OH, before marring and moving to Fairfield. She was a daughter of the late Chris and Fanny Annunziato Vivolo and was a retired employee of McDonalds and News Express. Jean was an avid card player, enjoyed her many visits to the casino, and also enjoyed crafts and working the flea market. She will be missed at The Cove and the Gazebo. She was pre-deceased by her sister Rose Davis and a nephew Douglas Davis. Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years, Joseph E. Turiano, three devoted children, along with five adored grandchildren, a daughter, Geri Convertito and her husband Michael of Bridgeport, and their children, Michelle Convertito Kinsley and her husband Chuck of Florida and Michael Convertito and his significant other Sabrina Silvestri of Bridgeport, daughter Marilyn Saad and her husband Joseph and their son Joey all of Fairfield, a son, Joseph J. Turiano and his wife Laura and their children Sabryna and Joseph all of Monroe, a brother, Anthony Vivolo of Florida, and many loving nieces and nephews and friends. The family would to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Harold Tara and his nurses and staff at St. Raphaels Hospital for all their love and support. Also a special thank you to Dr. Fang and staff at the Radiology Dept in St. Vincent Hospital, and all the nurses on the 7th floor. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at 9:30 a.m. directly in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Rd., Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Family and Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
