Obituary of Yolanda Torre

Resident of Shelton Yolanda Ferrando Torre, age 78, of Shelton, a retired employee of Sikorsky Aircraft, died on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 in Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Born in Bridgeport on August 11, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Nicola and Maria Silvestri Ferrante. Mrs. Torre devoted her life to her children and deceased husband. Her smiling eyes, her laugh and her feisty personality will be remembered and truly missed. She would do anything for her family and loved them whole-heartedly and unconditionally. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Nicholas Torre and two brothers, Anthony and Joseph Ferrando. Survivors include two sons, Frank Torre of Shelton and Nicholas Torre of Carmel, CA, three daughters, Marie Mulski and her husband, Richard of Hockessin, Delaware, Diana Torre of Trumbull and Jean Torre of Shelton, three sisters, Marie Cavalleri and her husband, Joseph of Trumbull, Carmella Sideleau and her husband, Paul of Bridgeport and Susan Smith of Bridgeport, five grandchildren, Michael and Nicole Mulski, James Costanzo and his wife, Charlene, Robert Costanzo and Meagan Torre, two great grandchildren, Joshua and Jenna Costanzo as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral Services will take place on Friday, September 15, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Margarets Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends and relatives may call on Friday morning from 8:15 a.m. until the time of service.
