Obituary of Muriel A. Tomlinson

Muriel A. Young Tomlinson, age 91, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Archibald M. Tomlinson, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. Muriel was born in Meriden on March 19, 1926 and was a longtime resident of Shelton. Survivors include her three loving children, David W. Tomlinson and his wife Sally, Janice T. Pearson and her husband Christopher and Thomas J. Tomlinson and his wife Lori, seven grandchildren, Rebecca Lomachinsky (John), Kimberly Young (Christopher), Scott I. Tomlinson (Nancy), C. Talmadge Pearson, Timothy Pearson, Sarah Tomlinson and Kelly Tomlinson and three great grandchildren, Jayci and Kendall Young and Austin Tomlinson as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Virginia A. Fensky. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. directly in Monroe Congregational Church, 34 Church St., Monroe. Interment will be private. Friends may greet the family on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
