Obituary of Shirley M. Dias

Shirley M. Bronson Dias, age 81, of Stratford passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert G. Dias. Born in Pottsville, PA on December 14, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Elbert Bronson and Naomi Robinson. Mrs. Dias had been employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant while she was living in Florida. She enjoyed cooking and loved to read, however, her greatest pleasure was found in the time she spent with her children and family. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her five loving children, Amber Trojanowski of Stratford, Albert B. Dias of Trumbull, Dawn Smith of Stratford, Todd Dias of Shelton and Jayme Dias of Stratford, eleven cherished grandchildren, Robin, Lea, Kelly, Albert, Melissa, Carla, Vinny, McKayla, Kristofer, Paige and Kyle, nine adored great grandchildren, Ataliyah (Lil Bits), Aiden, Dylan, Albert, Alana, Klara, Kierstyn, Khloe and Aarlynn. In addition to her husband Albert, she was also predeceased by two children, Robin and Craig Dias. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. directly in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Ave., Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may greet the family on Sunday from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
