Obituary of Albert P. Macisco

Albert P. Macisco, age 77, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Laurie D'Onofrio Macisco, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 12, 2017 at Bridgeport Hospital with his devoted wife by his side. Born in Bridgeport on October 28, 1939, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Mary Negrelli Macisco. A U.S. Army veteran, Albert along with his wife owned and operated A & L Movers. He was also formerly employed by Atlas Van Lines and North American Van Lines and was an avid Yankee fan. A kind, loving and gentle man, Albert was dedicated to the love of his family. The memories they shared will continue to live on in their hearts. He will be truly missed. In addition to his beloved wife Laurie of 48 years, survivors include three children, Shawn Macisco and his wife Janet of Texas, Darlene Todd and her husband Scott and Candice Preston and her husband Dean all of Florida, two grandchildren, Joshua Aidan and Shawneen, siblings, James Macisco and his wife Joan, Raymond Macisco and his wife Lorraine and Violet Royer, all of Florida and Louise Provenzano of Stratford, a sister-in-law, Joan Mills of Trumbull, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a grandson, Dakota Macisco, two brothers, Anthony and Frederick Macisco, two sisters, Dorothy Kerekes and Elizabeth Mooney and his canine companion, Lady. The family would like to thank the 7th floor oncology staff for the professionalism and care given to Albert. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull. Interment with full military honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Cure SMA, 925 Busse Rd., Elk Grove Village, IL 6007.
