Lucia Lisi Erodici, age 97, of Bradenton, Florida and formerly of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Ernesto Erodici, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at Windsor Reflections, Lakewood Ranch, FL, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 4, 1920 in Strangolagalli, Frosinone, Italy she was a daughter of the late Ardurino and Anna Sementelli Lisi. A seamstress by trade, Lucia was employed by the former Marbert Coat Factory in Bridgeport for many years.
She loved to cook, play cards and bingo, travel and most importantly spend time with her loving family. Lucia was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend to everyone who met her. She will be truly missed by all.
She was predeceased by six children, infant son Renato, Peter and Anthony Erodici, Italia Massaroni, Rosina Mullins and Susie Stemphowski and two son-in-laws, Joseph Mullins and Ruggiero Massaroni.
Survivors include her four loving children, Renato Erodici and his wife Dorees of Bridgeport, Maria Valeri and her husband Arcangelo of Shelton, Vincenza Massaroni and her husband Sante of Italy and Rina Samatulski and her husband Lenny of Lakewood Ranch, Florida, daughter-in-law, Rosina Erodici, son-in-law, Bob Stemphowski, 25 cherished grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. directly in St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave, Shelton, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
